“ The food was excellent as usual. It had been awhile since we ordered and expected either major shrinkflation or a big increase in price. Neither occurred. We called in and picked up. ”
“ Authentic, fresh Mexican food with a grocery market and butcher shop. Cool vibe, friendly service. ”
“ I'm from California and obviously spoiled with amazing Mexican food at the drop of a hat on every corner you drive by, but all of that changed once I moved out east. It is a desert of taquerias with only the occasional mirage and false hope of Mexican food only to be served something my Irish family could do better... For 2 years I wandered aimlessly trying anything that served what could be "considered" Mexican food. All hope was lost until by Gods grace I stumbled upon this "diamond in the rough". You know it's gonna be good when the restaurant is in the back of a Mexican tienda!!! Everything here is amazing, but the chicken tostada is out of this world! ”
“ Best Mexican food in Sussex County! Great tacos and burritos all inside an authentic Mexican mini mart! Highly recommend ”
“ Went there for lunch.Excellent Food . True Mexican cuisine .Fast Service .Friendly staff. Highly recommended. Definitely my main go to now. ”
“ Everything on the menu is delicious! Authentic Mexican food here and not that TexMex junk that other "Mexican" restaurants in the surrounding areas try to push. La Sierra is definitely the real deal! My 1 and only go to place when I get a craving for Mexican. Nothing compares! ”
“ La Sierra is a hidden gem in downtown Selbyville. This was our 2nd time here and we ordered a bunch of food to go - different tacos (asada, pollo, pastor), pollo empanadas, queso pupusas - and all of it was excellent. The standout was the empanadas, perfectly fried so it had just a small crisp on the outside but chewy inside with well seasoned chicken. Best empanadas I've ever had. I think it was $11 for 4 with rice and salad which felt like a great deal. My only complaint is there's really no room to stand and wait for your food, probably will call in the order next time. ”
“ Best food in southern delaware period I managed a restaurant for some time and I know how easy it is for a good place to put out a bad meal once in a while if everything isn't dialed in. That being said I have NEVER had a bad meal at La Sierra. Everything is always through the roof. Super friendly service and the best food anywhere for miles. ”
“ La Sierra was highly recommended to us. So we tried it this week. Service was good. You order at a window and the meal is brought to the table. I had shrimp quesadilla and boyfriend had a chicken sandwich that had pineapple on it. It was ok. I think we ordered the wrong things. We will definitely try again. Lots of fun checking out the bodegas ”
